Thomas is a small blue tank engine. His work residence is on the East Line. His first appearance is the lead role in 'Rolling Stock', he was slated to appear in 'Bomber Diesel Steam' before it was cancelled; He does however make an appearance (although as a none speaking role) in Trailers 1 & 4

In the Mad Bomber, He is first seen collecting coal at the mine, going into the country, then getting to a potato farm where he is blown up by a hidden bomb. A Potato Farmer calls the railyard, and Earl comes on the scene with Jim the Crane. The Fat Controller surveys the damage and suspects there's been a bombing. Thomas is then taken by Earl to the railyard to be repaired. At the railyard, The Fat Controller reports to all the engines about a mad bomber, and they set up a plan to look out for suspicious characters. when he was driving in the night he exploded on Andy Diesel's shed.

Trivia[]

  • He is the only character (besides The Fat Controller) to not be renamed.
  • He is the only model in 'Rolling Stock' to have a modified chassis, so he could run on H0/00 track.
  • His chassis is sourced from a Duck model, in 'Episode 2' he would've used a standard H0/00 bogie.
  • According to Leo, Thomas had 7 different model's, the most out of any character. most of them were stunt models used for explosions.
  • One of these models was used for the damaged Thomas model after he'd been blown up, he made this model by using a saw to cut up the model.
  • Another selection of models was used for when Thomas was being rebuilt in the workshop.
  • The main model's footplate is placed backwards, this was caused during the modifications of his chassis, sometime before filming the shed interior, this mistake was fixed.
